Kentucky's Leading Provider for Dual-Diagnosis Recovery
Here at Recovery Plus for Women, our concern is transformation. Our evidence-based treatment approach considers the whole person, not just the addiction. We cater to ladies between the ages of 18 and 65 who suffer from co-occurring mental health & substance use disorders.
Clients receive individualized mental health treatment throughout the program provided by licensed clinical professionals. We offer both specialized individual therapy and group therapy. We are clinician ran.
Clients attend educational group classes to learn positive coping skills, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectal behavioral therapy, trauma processing, relapse prevention, and more. Each day begins with Biblical principles class. We also offer Celebrate Recovery class, Big Book study, budgeting classes and parenting classes.
Housing is provided. We are a 38-bed facility. Clients stay in one of several beautiful houses while not at class. Clients do all their own cooking, budgeting, shopping and cleaning in a highly structured living environment. Phase 1 houses are staffed 24 hours a day.
On average, the schedule begins at 6 am and ends at 10:30 pm daily. Programming at the houses is painstakingly curated to provide clients with a wealth of enrichment and leisure opportunities including but not limited to faith-based activities, fitness groups, craft activities, outdoor exploration, team building exercises,12-Step community meetings and more.
